Terms of Service
These terms and the notice below govern your use of Aison. Please read them before relying on any result.
Nature of the service
Aison is a decision-support tool for qualified counsel. It provides computer-assisted trademark comparison and drafting support. It does not provide legal advice and does not replace professional judgment.
Review and responsibility
Results may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed manually before they are used in any opposition, enforcement step, client communication, or internal file.
Scope of assessment
This release assesses word marks only. Figurative marks, stylised marks, and combined word/figurative marks are outside the current scope unless expressly stated otherwise.
This release assesses likelihood of confusion only within the scope of the current workflow. Other issues, including absolute grounds, bad faith, reputation, acquired distinctiveness, and non-use, are not assessed unless expressly stated.
Article references
Article references in opposition-oriented outputs default to Art. 9(1)(b) EUTMR. For oppositions, counsel should confirm whether Art. 8(1)(b) EUTMR is the appropriate basis; EUIPO opposition guidance frames likelihood of confusion there.
